Note: Tsukurimono: Ichijō-dai (one-tatami platform). Prop on the ichijō-dai is Sesshôseki (Killing
Stone); it is designed to crack in the middle. Hashigo (ladder): Kyōgen-gata uses the prop during
his Aigatari (entr'acte monologue) Shikishi: Front shikishi depicts Tamamo-no-mae, the nine
tailed fox spirit trapped in the killing stone. Back shikishi depicts the Seiryô-den palace where
Tamamo-no-mae was loved by the emperor.
