Note:  Prior to the date of the print, Bandô Tamasaburô V also performed this
role at the Kokuritsu Gekijô in Tokyo in January 1979, but it more likely that
Karhu saw his 1977 performance in Kyoto.  This has since become one of
Bandô Tamasaburô V's signature roles.
